So lucky to have played with Jack DeJohnette for 9 years. This is his band Special Edition live at the Leverkusen Jazz Festival, with Greg Osby and Gary Thomas on saxes, and Lonnie Plaxico on bass.
The 1st gig I ever played with Jack DeJohnette, this is his band Special Edition at the Mt. Fuji Jazz Festival in Japan. Over 40k audience and luminaries such as Chick Corea and others just offstage, I was so nervous I don’t remember a thing about the concert, I essentially blacked out! Also with Greg Osby, Gary Thomas, and Lonnie Plaxico.
